CASE STUDY

Harlech Farms

In support of this family’s maximalist aesthetic, my brief was to use my minimalist leanings to curate their extensive collection of unique antique furniture, rugs, art, and their decades of momentos. The end result is what is for them a very pared down display of their favorite items — for a space that now brings great joy to the family. This project — a contemporary farmhouse — was done in partnership with the homeowner who is a talented artist with a great eye for design. Together we renovated the entire house — bringing in a new color palette, new floor plan, new built-ins, and new lighting. Working with the client, their architect team — Chuck Clark and Sara Adkins, and their master builder — Nolan Hunsberger, we completely altered the floor plan of the house — adding and removing walls and doorways to have a flow that works better for the family as the children and adults mature into new stages of life.
